New interview, report from Philly Q&A
When Luciana attended Wizard World Philadelphia last weekend, she was interviewed by James Young from local production studio Delphia Entertainment. They talk about “The Passage”, and Luciana reveals how many Philly cheese steaks she ate that weekend.
Next to Luciana and Mia St. John, James and Delphia Entertainment interviewed more than a dozen other WWP guests. You can find all their videos here on YouTube.
Speaking of Luciana at Wizard World Philly: A few days ago we presented videos from the Q&A panel attended by all four Battlestar guests. Meanwhile, host Jim Gibbons posted an enthusiastic report on moderating an insightful panel and meeting lovely BSG stars:
[They] were extremely friendly and gracious, Olmos particularly so as he thanked me warmly for taking time to host, and I was amazed by how enthused they seemed just to be there since some con guests aren’t always as thrilled to see fans as their fans are to see them.
[...]
At this point, I could spend hours upon hours going into how impressed I was with the insight this cast had into their show and mention numerous reasons why each facet of every answer was a tasty nerd nugget for massive fans of the show like myself.
[...]
The two women of “BSG” on the panel also had to field the first two fan questions, which were not only directed specifically at them but were particularly in-depth and intellectual questions, and their answers proved that both women had done a lot of thinking about this show and their characters and could easily handle replying in relation to overarching themes like feminism.
[...]
At one point, I noticed Olmos had been talking a lot but had no water. He grabbed some water, but not wanting any “BSG” cast member to be without, I grabbed one of the extra bottles I brought, placed it in front of Olmos and he passed it to Carro who needed a fresh water.
Now doesn’t that sound amazing and truly special? What a great bunch of people. Make sure to read the full post on Jim’s blog. And here’s hoping we’ll get to read — or even watch — some of the other answers given by Luciana and Nicki, in particular.

More pictures from Wizard World Philly
Not just the fans were busy uploading pictures from the Wizard World Philadelphia to the web, on her Facebook page Luciana herself created a wonderful gallery with 25 photos which range from just beautiful to hilarious. The pictures prove she had the Philly cheese steak sandwich she announced to eat on Facebook, show what interesting people she met, and, most importantly, just how much fun she had at the convention. This gallery is a treasure chest, so check it out!
Thank you, Luciana, for showing these great pictures to your fans!
Furthermore, our friend Cassie (who readers of this blog know for her wallpaper calendars) has provided us with two more beautiful pictures of Luciana, taken by Richie Buxo:
And finally, you can see four additional photos from the Q&A panel on The Fifth Element’s flickr gallery.
If more photos surface, you will be the first to know.

Video of Wizard World's BSG Q&A
The attendees of Luciana’s most recent convention are really good to us, uploading lots of great material so early. Hence, next to yesterday’s first batch of adorable pictures we are now happy to present a few videos from Wizard World.
OrzoEntertainment filmed Luciana at her booth on Saturday, though very briefly:
I still wonder what’s up with the blaster on the table… Did Luciana put it there to scare off importunate or lovesick geeks, or was she expecting to meet BSG fans in a Centurion costume again? ;-)
Speaking of Battlestar: With Nicki Clyne, Michael Hogan and Edward J. Olmos in attendance as well, Wizard World invited all BSG actors to come together for a Q&A on Saturday. The panel was hosted by Jim Gibbons, who just described this job as the “greatest nerd moment of my life”.
I feel you, Jim.
Well, on to the footage: YouTuber Frotis420 uploaded several parts of the panel! Among other things, he recorded Luciana’s tale of how she learned of Kat’s death back in summer 2006, shortly before shooting “Unfinished Business”:
I have heard and read this emotional story many times, yet it doesn’t fail to touch me, and I still very much enjoy seeing Luciana literally perform it. Plus, she added one or two bits we haven’t heard before, I think.
Frotis420’s other Q&A vids are interesting, too, of course (though Luciana doesn’t answer any questions in those parts).
Needless to say, more pictures and videos are certainly on the way, so don’t forget to check back soon (and spread the word, gentle readers). Meanwhile, we’re preparing some really good stuff for the blog and the Fansite.
First pictures from Wizard World Philly
The convention is barely over, yet the first beautiful pictures of Luciana at the Wizard World in Philadelphia have already appeared on the web.

In random420’s flickr gallery, you can find five nice pictures of Luciana during the panel with her Battlestar colleagues. (And we look very much forward to stories and videos from what looks to have been an exciting Q&A.)
There are several more pictures of the panel in crazygolfa’s gallery, while wipeoutpdr posted two pictures of Luciana at her autograph booth.
More pictures as we get them…

Wizard World Philly this weekend
It’s been five weeks since Luciana’s last convention. I think most of us kind of missed all the nice pictures and stories and videos, didn’t we? (Yeah, she really spoiled us this year.) Fortunately, Luciana will be appearing at the following convention this weekend:
Wizard World Philly
June 19-21
Pennsylvania Convention Center
Philadelphia, PA
The impressive guest list include’s Battlestar Galactica’s Nicki Clyne (Cally), this year’s “King of BSG Cons”, Michael Hogan (Saul Tigh), and Edward James Olmos (William Adama), as well as many other actors and dozens of comic book artists.
To all attendees: If you’d like to share any pictures, videos or stories from Wizard World, please comment on this post, or contact Pedda (that would be me).

More Battlestar guests in Philadelphia
Two weeks from now, Luciana will be one of the featured guests at the Wizard World convention in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Luciana herself is already worth the travel, of course, but if you’re a Battlestar fan, the event got a lot more exciting over the past weeks.
That’s because Nicki Clyne (Cally Henderson), Michael Hogan (Saul Tigh) and Edward James Olmos (William Adama) will all join Luciana on the guest list. What a line up! All attendees have my sincerest envy.
