At the beginning of each month, we look back at TV premieres, appearances at conventions, and other key dates in Luciana’s public life that occurred this month one or more years ago.

September has usually been a rather quiet month, but aside of the premiere of a BSG episode which was particularly interesting for fans of Kat and Luciana, she also attended one of the biggest conventions in the US:
- September 9, 2005: Battlestar episode “Final Cut” shows Kat suffering from an addiction to stims, and Kat truly becomes much more than a background character (Fanboard discussion, screen caps).
- September 18, 2007: The book “Battlestar Galactica: The Official Companion Season Three” is released by Tor Books. It features an interview with Luciana and contains interesting information about a couple of scenes featuring Luciana which unfortunately were cut from the finished episodes (Fanboard discussion).
- September 4-7, 2009: Luciana attends Dragon*Con – one of the biggest genre conventions – together with many other Battlestar Galactica cast and crew (blog entries about Dragon*Con).
